About the studio
Calm, creative, considered.
Hi, I'm Maggie. I started BRAVA because I genuinely love bringing people together. Whether it's a conference, awards night, product launch or community event, I love seeing an idea grow from a conversation into something people experience, enjoy and remember.
Over the past 15 years I've been lucky enough to work across all kinds of events - from festivals and major sporting events to startup communities, corporate conferences and celebrations. No two projects are ever the same, and that's one of the things I love most about this industry.
Before BRAVA, I co-founded The Food Truck Collective, helping hundreds of food businesses get started and playing a small part in shaping Auckland's street food scene. Along the way I've been recognised as one of New Zealand's Top 50 Most Influential & Inspiring Women in Food & Drink, and was honoured to be named a finalist for Established Event Professional at the 2026 New Zealand Events Association Awards.
People often tell me I'm calm under pressure, and I think that's probably my biggest strength. Events have a funny way of throwing curveballs, but I enjoy finding solutions, keeping things moving and making sure clients can actually enjoy the experience instead of worrying about the details.
For me, a successful event isn't just one that runs on time. It's one where people leave feeling inspired, connected or simply glad they came. That's what BRAVA is all about.
